Description: The White English Bulldog is a very rare & old breed of dog
that is believed to be originated in the Southern United States. Said to
be the original bulldog from England unchanged. That is how it got it's
name "White English Bulldog".
History: The White English Bulldog was developed in the early pioneer
days in the United States. Mostly the South and Southeast states. It is
pure speculation and hasn't been proven but it's believed that the White
English Bulldog was brought to the states by either the British or
Spanish, possibly both.
Temperament: The White English Bulldog is a family pet. It has been used
to hunt all types of game from early times. Has also been used as a
stock dog. The majority of the White English Bulldog are kept as pets
today.
Height: Male Dogs: 21 to 25 inches. Female Dogs: 20 to 24 inches. On
average
Weight: Male Dogs: 65 to 110 pounds. Female Dogs 55 to 85 pounds.
Health Problems: The White English bulldog seems to have less health
problems than many of the bulldog breeds. As with any breed you must
take into consideration the bloodline and parents.
Living Condition: The White English bulldog likes to have plenty of room
to run and play and doesn't generally do well kenneled or kept in an
apartment setting.
Exercise Required: Daily exercise is highly suggested. The White English
Bulldog likes to work as well as play on a daily basis.
Life Expectancy: 10-16 years on average
Litter Size: 3-6 puppies per litter on average
Origin: The White English Bulldog is believed to be brought from English
or Spanish settlers. They come from the southern and south east states
like Georgia and Florida.
